The Door (2019)

Investigating humans as a facet of the environment rather than being in an environment this installation took participants through a series of actions often played out to try and ‘reconnect humans with nature’, but in doing so, establishing that very disconnect that is the binary: human and nature. 

I used wet film photography during the installation that participants could use according to philosophical instructions; video; recorded audio; and improvisation.
